increasing with every passing day and the condition is become worse and worse. Our
transport vehicles are one of the biggest factors of increasing pollution.
Everyone wants to travel in his own car no one like to travel in public
transport except of those who do not have cars to travel. If people travel in
public transport or bicycles and such other means which do not pollute
atmosphere, it will be a big contribution in controlling increasing environment
problems. Here is one of the latest
solution is discovered in China, in fact a classic solution with modern
technology.
These orange bikes are taking
over China’s major cities. They are called Mobike. It’s a Shanghai based
startup that wants to lead China’s bike sharing craze. China used to be called
The Kingdom of Bicycles before cars become affordable and popular. Mobike
launched in April 2016 and now operate is 9 cities. Shanghai alone has 100,000
bikes. The biggest advantage is that it is convenient and easy to find, easy to
park by the street, wherever there is space.
24 years Tracy Fu lives in
Shanghai and has been riding mobike for 5 months. She says it is not like a
traditional bike, it is more fashion. Young people like me all like doing gyms,
doing exercise, so like healthier lifestyle. Mobike is definitely good for us
and good for our habit.
Here is how it works. Tracy
search available mobike on her mobike app. Each bike is equipped with GPS which
is powered by pedaling. She scans a QR code and starts riding. Each rental cost
$0.14 for an hour and use need to deposit fee of $43. It is a unique feature.
Tracy locks up the bike and leaves it anywhere she wants.
