Mustafa Efe, the Imam of a mosque named Aziz Mahmud Hudayi Mosque show his humanity. He opened the door of the mosque where he is the Imam Istanbul's for homeless cats and their kittens. He is providing shelter to these cats to stay warm and safe in the mosque.
Since the last year Mustafa has been doing this, to allow these cats to live in the mosque.
He calls them Friday Friends and instead of chasing them away from pray area, he allow keep them with him other people who came to mosque for Friday prayer.
Not only on the Friday and they are always welcomed every day of the week in the mosque.
In the winter when weather cold outside, these cats can still remain in the mosque.
Mother cats that have kitten are also living in the mosque with their kids.
People who visit regular also developed relation with these cats.
Cats can been seen playing all around.
